CHARGE ! Its the start of the annual cross country race at Nightingale High School , Wanstead. |

One hundred boys set out upon the two mile slog last week.The course meant wading through snow , slush ,and sliding in muddy puddles. |
|
Undeterred by foul conditions, and under the eagle eye of their trainer Mr Morgan Atkinson , all the boys made it to the finishing post. |
|
|
|
But not as quickly as Andy Young, fastest boy in the school.There were no records to be broken on the course as it was the first time the course had been run. |
